CANCELLATION POLICY

Raven Hair Co requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or change to a scheduled service in order to avoid a cancellation fee.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s).
This policy also applies if a guest chooses not to proceed with a service for any reason after the appointment has started.

Important:

  • Cancellation fees are charged the same day
  • Fees cannot be applied to a future appointment
  • The cancellation fee must be paid before any service can be rebooked

We recognize that unexpected situations arise. Please contact us by phone as soon as you know you are unable to attend your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows create gaps in our stylists’ schedules that cannot be filled without adequate notice and prevent us from accommodating other guests.


Same-Day & Short-Notice Appointments 

For appointments booked same day or within a 24-hour timeframe, we require a minimum of 3 hours’ notice for any cancellation or change to avoid a cancellation fee.


As a courtesy, confirmation emails or text messages are sent 72 hours prior to your appointment. If we are unable to reach you, please note that it is the guest’s responsibility to remember appointment dates and times to avoid missed appointments, late arrivals, and cancellation fees.

NO SHOW POLICY

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled appointment without contacting the salon are considered no-shows.

No-shows will be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s) to the card on file used at the time of booking.
This fee must be settled before any future appointments can be scheduled.

Our Service Guarantee

At Raven Hair Co., your satisfaction means everything to us. We stand behind the quality of our work and are committed to making things right if something doesn’t feel quite right.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • We do not offer refunds on services.
  • If you’re not fully satisfied, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment so we can make it right.
  • We’re happy to provide a complimentary adjustment to align with your original consultation goals—pending management approval.

Please note:

  • Adjustments are not provided during the “in-between” stages of a multi-session transformation plan. Big changes take time, and results build over a series of appointments.
  • Adjustments will also not be made if recommended home care was not followed.

We encourage open conversations and are committed to ensuring every guest feels confident and cared for throughout their hair journey.


We believe in honesty, transparency, and care. Beautiful hair doesn't happen by chance, it's a collaboration between your unique hair chemistry and our expertise.

Before we begin any chemical service, it's important to understand that several factors can affect how your hair responds to colour and treatments. These include:

  • Previous Colour or Chemical Services (lightening, darkening, perms, etc.)
  • Heat Damage & Breakage from regular hot tool use
  • Medications & Hormonal Changes which can affect how your hair lifts or holds colour
  • Hard Water & Product Buildup (like minerals or dry shampoo) that can block absorption
  • Your Hair Goals & History—including how often you colour your hair, and what you're hoping to achieve today

While we will always do our best to deliver beautiful results, it's important to note that we cannot guarantee outcomes of any chemical service when these factors are present. We do guarantee that we will always be open, honest and committed to working with you every step of the way. Some transformations require multiple sessions and ongoing home care to maintain the integrity of your hair and achieve the best long-term result. 

We're here to support you every step of the way—with realistic expectations, professional advice, and a plan to help you love your hair.

SERVICE DEPOSITS

To secure your appointment, a 50% deposit is required for all online bookings.
This deposit is applied to your total on the day of your appointment and is non-refundable.

For services over 4 hours with the same stylist (such as colour corrections), a $200 deposit is required.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows for these appointments will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Deposits may also be required for large group bookings, including bridal parties.

All services & retail items are final sale.  We do not offer refunds or exchanges of any kind.
